What it is:

Last Seven Days is a feature-length (1 hour, 46 minute) independent film that follows a U.S. Army Veteran as he contemplates a planned suicide attempt.
Now that the film is completed, the Jewkes Foundation will partner with local VA branches and Veteran services non-profits to hold mental health screening events in which the film will be shown, followed by qualifying Veterans needing treatment for mental health services. Similarly, the Jewkes Foundation will sponsor premieres at interested universities, with a panel discussion on suicide prevention with mental health professionals.

Film Synopsis

Picture
Christopher Jones is a U.S. Army Veteran who’s been unhappy for awhile. After deciding he’s going to end his life, he begins a video log to document each day leading up to his planned suicide.

As the week progresses day by day, Chris has ups and downs, both confirmations of his plan and doubts. Regardless of the outcome, his documented journey is a lesson for all.

We hope you'll join us on this important mission. It's never easy asking for money. And trust us, we don't like doing this. But we hope that in opening up the opportunity for donations and purchasing merchandise for sale, that many more can join us and take part in a great cause.
It's going to take all of us.
