Senior Film Course
The Jewkes Foundation has held film classes for seniors, which essentially walk them through the process of creating a film from the ground up. The classes aim to give participants a creative outlet and learn the skills of the trade that is dominated by younger generations. This course covers the following aspects of filmmaking:
The completed project, created and filmed by the seniors, is then premiered among family and friends. In some instances, it is submitted into film festivals.
